Born and raised in the cityscapes of Ohio, DJ/Engineer/Producer & Designer, Damon Johnson (aka Doc), began hitting the ground running in the music & entertainment realm when he was 13 years old and picked up his first set of turntables. Since then, the multi-talented and multifaceted artist has manifested into a pioneer of his trade and has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon.
Respectfully known as a very sharp mind, Doc is a one-of-a-kind producer. The type that really likes to delve into one’s aura by personalizing the artist; garnering him the ability to make every project sound versatile, unique, innovative, authentic, and dynamic. Since 2012, Doc has produced, mixed, and mastered over 30 projects throughout the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina scene, where he currently resides.
Doc has brought his live-show experience to service weddings & events during the spring and summer seasons. He has an extensive catalogue of music, and continues to work on and release mixtapes/albums, as well as other projects year-round. Doc also creates custom mixes for competitive dance groups.
Though Doc enjoys a vast array of different music stylization and genres, some of his influences include Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Richard Branson, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Aerosmith, Jay Z, Diddy, Isaac Hayes, Adam Sandler, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Will Smith, Warren Buffett, and tons more.
Currently, Doc’s future prospects include reaching out to more artists around the world to expand his resumé and musical niche as a producer and artist collectively. He has plans of traveling and gaining new experiences, so he can share them through the art of music and his artist development process. Doc is also working on an exclusive database for his city & scene on behalf of local and regional events, news, studio availability, video shoots, and anything else related.
